Deploy

Stop adding devices one by one

Create a deployment package for a company and group. Any device that runs it joins the right place on its own.

  • EXE and silent-install MSI for Windows
  • One-line command for Linux and Pardus
  • No separate agent: the SmartDesk app is all you need
  • Revoke a package at any time

Know what is happening on every device

Check a device before you connect. Understand the problem before you open the screen.

  • Operating system, CPU, memory and disks
  • Last boot and pending restart
  • Installed software and update status
  • Antivirus status
  • CPU and memory chart for the last 24 hours
Get alerted

Hear about problems before your users do

Set thresholds per company. Alerts are collected in the Console and can also reach you by email.

  • Disk full, device offline, antivirus off
  • Critical update, overdue update, pending restart
  • Instant or digest email
  • Mute during maintenance
Act

Most jobs do not need the screen

Step in without interrupting the user, and connect with one click when you do need the screen.

Services and processes

Start or stop services and see running processes, without entering the user's screen.

Connect with one click

Open a remote desktop session directly from an alert or the device page.

Every action logged

Who did what, on which device and when. Ready in the logs for audits.

FAQ

Common questions

Which plans include device management?

It is included in Pro and Enterprise, and available in the 14-day free trial.

I am already a customer. How do I get it?

If it is not yet on for your account, write to our support team and we will turn it on.

Do I need to install a separate agent?

No. Device management is part of the SmartDesk app. Version 3.3.7 or later is required, and the deployment package installs a suitable version.

How many devices can I add?

On the Pro plan you can add up to 10 devices with deployment packages. Contact us if you need more.

What data is collected? Is the screen monitored?

Device name, signed-in username, operating system, hardware, disk usage, installed software, antivirus and update status, and CPU and memory usage are collected. Screen content and files are not part of monitoring data.

Is the device user told about background actions?

On Windows the user sees a notification. Actions are logged together with who performed them.

Does it work on macOS?

Remote connections work on macOS. The monitoring and system tools on this page are currently for Windows and Linux.

Is it a full RMM product?

No. We do not offer automation or script execution. The goal is to let remote support teams deploy, monitor and step in on their devices from one place.
